Who can join Sahara Oasis programs?
Our programs are designed for NDIS participants of all abilities who want to learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with others in a supportive community.
What types of activities do you offer?
Sahara Oasis offers creative, practical, and social workshops across seven streams β including art, design, digital media, screen printing, wellbeing, and outdoor adventures.
How do I get started?
Simply fill out our Join the Crew form or ask your Support Coordinator to contact us. Weβll get in touch to discuss your goals and recommend programs that best fit your interests.
Can I use my NDIS funding to join?
Yes! Our programs align with both Core and Capacity Building supports under the NDIS. We can provide session outlines, progress notes, and reports for your plan manager or coordinator.
Are participants paid for their work?
Yes β participants involved in commercial or creative projects, such as screen printing or market stalls, receive payment for their contributions.
Do you offer transport?
Transport may be available depending on your location and program type. Please contact our team to discuss your individual needs.
How often do workshops run?
Programs run Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling options β including group and individual sessions. Special outings and community events are held regularly.
Can support workers or coordinators attend?
Absolutely! We encourage collaboration and welcome support workers, coordinators, and family members to be part of the learning experience.
